The University of Bristol’s Quantum Innovation activity consists of two pioneering centres which support the creation and growth of the UK’s Quantum Technology start-up ecosystem.
The first is the Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre (QTIC) which offers dedicated facilities and support services for quantum and deep tech companies to launch, grow and connect. With a £35m investment from local government, the Centre is currently at pilot stage and its full-scale facility will open as part of the new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus in 2025.
Within QTIC, is the Quantum Technology Enterprise Centre which has support the establishment of a third of the UK’s funded quantum companies. It offers a six month pre-incubator programme QUEST to provide researchers with the necessary business training and support to establish their own quantum technology venture based upon their research.
